Consumer Database Publishing
HCC Publishing in the Midlands was conceived and founded by Howard Cox the owner of TDI.
Specifically trained staff, under our management, were dedicated to collecting, analysing and manipulating niche market information. The data was then cleverly controlled by bespoke in-house programs and delivered to the end-user for full interrogation on CD-ROMs, the Internet and in sophisticated hardcopy directories.
The personnel at HCC under our management and creative direction were involved in database publishing with several other structured business and consumer contact name type products for companies such as Emap Plc, the largest magazine publisher in the UK.
The many products that HCC personnel have developed involved detailed accurate recording of contacts and business profile data collection.
These consumer "where to find" directories (see pictures) for:
- Golf Courses
- Fisheries
- Steam Railways
- Equestrian Facilities
- Night Clubs
- Complimentary Medicine
...were sold in WH Smiths, PC World, Amazon and E-Dream by mail order and retail purchase.
